Our Wishes
We invite you to take a closer look at the wishes we have successfully granted so far, as well as those exciting wishes that we are diligently working on for the upcoming year of 2025.

01
Ms. Dee & The Birds
Our very first wish was granted to Ms. Dee, a patient with end stage respiratory disease that resides in Vermont. Ms. Dee is homebound due to her illness, and after her dog passed she found herself largely isolated and on a fixed income. She found Laura's Wish Foundation and was hopeful that we could find her some birds. Companions that she could talk to and care for easily.
Luckily there were a pair of birds in Dee's community that needed to be rehomed. LWF was able to deliver the pair, Skye and O'Malley to Ms. Dee along with a year supple of food in tow.

02
Lenny - The Daytona 500
Lenny, a 9 year cancer survivor of 3 primary cancers - most recently diagnosed with his 3rd primary cancer, stage 4 Aggressive Small Cell Carcinoma is an avid Nascar Junkie. He had always dreamt of going to the Daytona 500. After Lenny received devastating news of a new cancer, LWF was contacted to send him and 8 other family members to the sold out race. LWF partnered with the Nascar Foundation and was able to send Lenny, his wife, 2 adult children and their families, including 3 of his grand daughters to the race. The family enjoyed a 3 night stay in Orlando, a tour of the track and race garage, the Xfinity race and the Daytona 500 itself.

03
Susan - Grand Canyon Tour
